1. General Information

Welcome to Magnolia Spirit. By booking or receiving a Tarot reading from us, you (“Client”) agree to the following Terms and Conditions.

These Terms apply to all sessions, whether conducted online (via video call, chat, or phone) or in person.

If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not book or participate in a session.

2. Nature of Services

• Readings are not a substitute for professional advice from a licensed medical, legal, financial, or mental health professional.

• The Reader makes no guarantees about accuracy, outcomes, or specific results.

• All interpretations are subjective and should be received with personal discernment.

3. Client Responsibilities

• You must be 18 years of age or older to receive a reading.

• You understand that participation is voluntary and that you are fully responsible for your own life choices and actions following the session.

• The Client agrees to maintain respectful communication at all times.

4. Confidentiality & Privacy

• All information shared during a reading is strictly confidential and will not be disclosed to third parties unless required by law (e.g., risk of harm or legal obligation).

• For online readings, we use secure communication platforms such as Zoom, WhatsApp, or Google Meet. However, we cannot guarantee complete privacy from third-party software providers.

• For in-person readings, sessions are conducted in a safe and private environment.

5. Bookings, Payments & Cancellations

• Bookings: All readings must be scheduled in advance through our official booking system or contact channels.

• Payments:

  • Online sessions require full payment at the time of booking.

  • In-person sessions may require a deposit to confirm your appointment.

• Cancellations:

  • At least 24–48 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

  • Late cancellations (less than 24 hours’ notice) or no-shows will forfeit the full session fee.

• Late Arrivals: Please arrive or connect on time. Sessions will end at the scheduled time to respect other clients.

6. Refund Policy

• Once a reading has been completed, no refunds will be issued.

• Refunds may be offered if the Reader must cancel the appointment and a reschedule cannot be arranged.

• All refund requests must be made in writing within 7 days of the scheduled session.

7. Online Readings – Technical Terms

• The Client is responsible for ensuring a stable internet connection and access to the agreed communication platform.

• The Reader is not responsible for technical interruptions caused by connectivity issues or software errors.

• If a session is disrupted due to technical problems, it may be rescheduled at no additional cost.

8. In-Person Readings – Health & Safety

• Please arrive in good health and free from contagious illness.

• The Reader reserves the right to refuse service if a Client appears intoxicated,

• aggressive, or otherwise unfit for a session.

• Hygiene and safety protocols (e.g., sanitizing, distancing) may be implemented as necessary for public health.

9. Recordings & Intellectual Property

Recording a session (audio or video) is allowed only with mutual consent.

All written, verbal, or digital content shared during readings is the intellectual

property of Magnolia Spirit and may not be reproduced, shared, or published

without written permission.

Any personalized reading notes, summaries, or spreads remain the creative work of the Reader.

10. Disclaimer

By booking and participating in a reading, you acknowledge that:

• Tarot readings are for entertainment and personal insight purposes only.

• The Reader does not diagnose, predict the future, or provide legal or financial advice.

• You are solely responsible for how you interpret and act upon the information provided.

• Magnolia Spirit assumes no responsibility or liability for any decisions, actions, or consequences arising from your reading.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Magnolia Spirit shall not be held liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the services provided.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New Zealand, and any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.

13. Acceptance of Terms

By booking, paying for, or participating in a Tarot reading (online or in person), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions in full.

1.2 The personal information you provide to us (including any information provided if you register for an account) is collected and may be used for communicating with you, statistical analysis, the marketing by us of products and services to you, credit checks (if necessary), and research and development.
